Prayer Companion keeps your religious activity private: your prayer times, worship logs, Quran reading, and settings are stored only on your device. To help us fix crashes and improve the app, it also shares anonymous usage and crash-diagnostic data through Google's Firebase.

Data that stays on your device

• Location. With your permission, your device location is used to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction. The coordinates are processed by an astronomical algorithm on your device and saved only in local storage. Your location is not transmitted to us or to Firebase. To display your city name, the app may ask your phone's operating system to reverse-geocode the coordinates via its own geocoding service; the app works fully without it.
• Your worship records. Prayer logs, fasting records, tasbih counts and streaks, azkar progress, Quran bookmarks and reading position, and all settings are stored only in the app's private local storage. They never leave your phone. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes them.
• Zakat calculator. Amounts you enter are used for the on-screen calculation only and are never saved anywhere, not even locally.
• Notifications. Athan alerts and reminders are scheduled and generated entirely on your device.
• Backup. The optional backup feature writes your data to a JSON file on your device and opens the system share sheet — where it goes from there is entirely your choice. The app itself never uploads it anywhere.

Analytics & crash diagnostics

To understand which features are used and to detect and fix crashes, the app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google). These collect anonymous data such as: app screens viewed, a small number of feature events (e.g. "a prayer was logged"), crash stack traces, and technical details like your device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and a randomly generated app-instance identifier.

This data is not linked to your identity, contains no prayer content, location coordinates, or zakat amounts, and is transmitted securely to Google's Firebase servers, where it is processed under Google's Privacy Policy.

In this version, analytics and crash reporting are always on and cannot be disabled within the app. If you prefer not to share this data, you can stop it by uninstalling the app.

Network connections the app makes

The app's core features work offline. It connects to the internet in these cases:

• Quran recitation audio — when you choose to play or download a recitation, the device downloads MP3 files from public Quran audio servers (cdn.islamic.network and everyayah.com). No identifiers or personal data are sent with the request.
• Analytics & crash diagnostics — as described above (Firebase).
• Update check — on launch the app requests a small version file from mydocscanner.com to tell you when a new version is available. The request sends no personal data.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. The anonymous analytics and crash diagnostics described above are processed by Google as our service provider through Firebase; we use them only to operate and improve the app.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal or identifying information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised before the change ships.

يحافظ «رفيق الصلاة» على خصوصية نشاطك الديني: تبقى مواقيت صلاتك وسجلّات عبادتك وقراءتك للقرآن وإعداداتك على جهازك فقط. ولمساعدتنا على إصلاح الأعطال وتحسين التطبيق، يشارك أيضًا بيانات استخدام وأعطال مجهولة الهوية عبر خدمة Firebase من Google.

بيانات تبقى على جهازك

• الموقع. بعد إذنك، يُستخدم موقع جهازك لحساب مواقيت الصلاة واتجاه القبلة. تُعالَج الإحداثيات بخوارزمية فلكية على جهازك وتُحفَظ في التخزين المحلي فقط، ولا يُرسَل موقعك إلينا ولا إلى Firebase.
• سجلات عبادتك. سجل الصلوات والصيام والتسبيح والأذكار وعلامات القرآن وموضع القراءة وجميع الإعدادات تُحفَظ في التخزين المحلي فقط ولا تغادر هاتفك أبدًا. حذف التطبيق يحذفها نهائيًا.
• حاسبة الزكاة. المبالغ التي تُدخلها تُستخدم للحساب على الشاشة فقط ولا تُحفَظ في أي مكان.
• الإشعارات. تنبيهات الأذان والتذكيرات تُنشأ بالكامل على جهازك.
• النسخ الاحتياطي. يكتب بياناتك في ملف على جهازك ثم يفتح نافذة المشاركة — ووجهة الملف قرارك وحدك. التطبيق نفسه لا يرفعه إلى أي مكان.

التحليلات وتشخيص الأعطال

لمعرفة الميزات الأكثر استخدامًا ولاكتشاف الأعطال وإصلاحها، يستخدم التطبيق Firebase Analytics وFirebase Crashlytics من Google. تجمع هذه الأدوات بيانات مجهولة الهوية مثل الشاشات المعروضة وعدد قليل من أحداث الميزات وسجلات الأعطال وتفاصيل تقنية كطراز الجهاز ونسخة نظام التشغيل ونسخة التطبيق واللغة ومُعرِّف عشوائي لنسخة التطبيق.

هذه البيانات غير مرتبطة بهويتك، ولا تتضمن أي محتوى صلاة أو إحداثيات موقع أو مبالغ زكاة، وتُرسَل بشكل مؤمَّن إلى خوادم Firebase وتُعالَج وفق سياسة خصوصية Google.

في هذا الإصدار تعمل التحليلات وتقارير الأعطال دائمًا ولا يمكن إيقافها داخل التطبيق. وإن كنت تفضّل عدم مشاركة هذه البيانات، يمكنك إيقافها بحذف التطبيق.

اتصالات الشبكة

تعمل الميزات الأساسية دون إنترنت. ويتصل التطبيق بالإنترنت في الحالات التالية:

• تلاوات القرآن — عند اختيارك تشغيل أو تنزيل تلاوة، من خوادم صوتيات عامة (cdn.islamic.network وeveryayah.com) دون إرسال أي بيانات شخصية.
• التحليلات وتشخيص الأعطال — كما هو موضّح أعلاه (Firebase).
• التحقق من التحديثات — يطلب التطبيق ملف إصدار صغيرًا من mydocscanner.com ليخبرك بتوفّر نسخة جديدة، دون إرسال أي بيانات شخصية.

مشاركة البيانات

لا نبيع بياناتك الشخصية ولا نشاركها. أما بيانات التحليلات والأعطال مجهولة الهوية فتُعالَج بواسطة Google كمزوّد خدمة لنا عبر Firebase، ونستخدمها فقط لتشغيل التطبيق وتحسينه.

الأطفال

التطبيق مناسب لجميع الأعمار، ولا يجمع أي معلومات شخصية أو تعريفية من أي شخص.

التغييرات على هذه السياسة

إذا تغيّرت ممارسات التطبيق للبيانات، فستُحدَّث هذه السياسة ويُعدَّل تاريخ «آخر تحديث» قبل صدور التغيير.
